Normally, I’d be pretty frustrated if someone posted one of my photos independently of my original upload (especially when it has over 250 notes). But, thankfully, this person linked me as the source (high five), and for some reason, my post has passed the 1700 1800 notes mark over the past week making it my most popular photo by a long shot. I’ll let it slide this time, internet…

What happens when you incrementally move a camera throughout the course of a long exposure? Apparently, it turns out looking like a parallax shifted magic eye poster. I really want to try this technique out on some less complex, better lit subjects to see what kind of results i can get.

This was the inspiration for the numbers series I posted a few weeks back. The fact that so much effort was put into something as simple as an address marker with as odd of a number as “227” reminded me that as long as you’re looking, there’s plenty worth photographing. I’m hoping to continue the series as an inspiration to get out and take more pictures, and to keep training my eye to find those places and moments that make it so rewarding.
