My good friend is opening a café soon and invited me over to help design some sandwiches. This is my creation: Roast beef, cucumber, chèvre, smokey mayonnaise, and fresh mint on multigrain sourdough. (Taken with Instagram at The Hyppo Cafe)

Lunch today: Brie, lettuce, and butter on a fresh baguette from La Boulangerie in Uptown. Absolutely delicious.

I could go for another oyster po’ boy from Stanley…

Butcher’s take on a Bahn Mi: Head cheese, chicken liver pâté, cilantro, and ginger pickled carrots. The less you think about it, the better it tastes.
